At least once every six months a Prince tour rumour starts doing the rounds on the internet, and news.com is behind the latest gossip claiming that: “Prince is close to inking a deal” to open Star City Casino’s new entertainment complex next year.

It has been eight years since The Beautiful One graced us with his presence, so it is safe to say that a visit is well overdue. While the Casino has declined to confirm whether any artists have been locked in for the grand opening, news reports that The Artist Formerly Known as The Artist, is at the top of the venue’s wishlist.

While we are hoping like hell this particular internet rumour is true, in the words of the man himself , “The internet’s completely over… all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can’t be good for you.” So, who knows what to believe!
